NEW CHILLOUT MUSIC TRACK
"INDEPENDENCE" by SUPERNOVA 49.
In celebration of July 4th, this TOP GUN cover is my humble version of the epic track from Harold Faltermeyer.
It took quite a bit of research to figure out some of 80s sounds for the theme, which used some Roland TR-808 presets. This is nowhere close to the original, but it is my take with a major 80' feel to it.
For the footage, I used my Z900 bike, an old Go Pro and some good amount of video editing and filters to get a strong sun wash effect. No Tom Cruise here :) but I had fun doing it.
